What an awesome 2011 season! I would thank each of our members for your positive and active participation. The boys and girls looked like they had a great time out there and they each played hard. I would like to thank each member of our each of our team’s coaching staff, the cheer coaches and the team moms for all of their time talent and efforts. Also to our sponsors, Baylor University, Texas Christian Academy, our referees, security and board members for their tireless efforts and commitment to youth sports.
Both old and new CPF members I thank you for your commitment to making the vision of CenTex Pee Wee a reality. You helped insure that CPF was a fun and safe place to play. You blessed schools throughout Central Texas with over 200 backpacks, our drive for Toys 4 Tots totaled over 400 little blessing and your support even helped bless our local food bank drive. I look forward to our league blessing as many families agin in 2012.
I would like to welcome all of our new and our returning members to our 2012 season. All sign up’s will be online, fees can be managed online, with your head coach or at any league sign up event. Players & cheerleaders will be insured, unique to CenTex Pee Wee Football; the coaches design their teams uniform…every player will receive a personalized new uniform, jersey, pants and socks (yours to keep) with your name on the back and a chance to select your very own number, and a trophy. All tackle players will be issued league equipment to use for the season (helmet w/team logo, shoulder pads, pant pads, mouth piece) at no additional cost. Flag Players receive a team dri mesh shirt with their name and number and a pair of CPF shorts, Cheerleaders are outfitted with a two piece uniform with their team name and league logo, accompanied with briefs, socks, hair bow and pom-poms. We have been fortunate to have the opportunity to play our regular season games on Texas Christian Academy’s field for over a decade and thank the TCA staff for so many years of support. This season M&M Mars has offered to host all of regular season games! We will have relaxed family style atmosphere, please bring your own chairs and pop up shade. We will offer light concessions and cold water and soft drinks. As is customary, we look to continue our opportunity for all members to compete at Floyd Casey again next season.
As most are aware we endeavor to build a state of the art youth sports complex, where we can house our equipment, conduct registrations and play on a modern day turf surface (no more rainouts). However I would like our complex to be more than that; I would like to have classrooms where our gifted students who enjoy helping other students learn can come out tutor. Our coaches and officiating staff can meet…study and learn. We can recognize our NCAA and Professional players, giving hope to this generation and those to come that they too can achieve excellence staring here at CenTex Pee Wee. I would also like to be able to recognize all of our service members for they do each day so that we may enjoy what we do. My prayer is to provide the youth of Central Texas with a facility they can finally call home. Be sure to checkout the view of future on the back cover. CPF’s core values, our foundation; are our families, we believe “That Families Come First”, character development through sports (every child is a star), academic excellence and community service are all pillars of our program. Each season we have teams move on and new team join, if you would like to lead a team please contact me to schedule an opportunity to meet. Once on board our exec team will help you and your assistant coaches through the national background checks, certification and CPR/1st Aid training as you build your team.
